Pro Bounce was the shoe adidas built to take over from Crazy Explosive at the team level, and the change of cushioning is the whole story. Where Crazy Explosive rode on full-length Boost (soft, tall and expensive), Pro Bounce runs full-length Bounce, a compression-moulded foam that sits much lower to the floor and trades some impact protection for court feel and a far lower price. A breathable textile upper, a padded collar for Achilles support and two split plastic plates through the midfoot handle the rest. This white version is the blank: white upper, black detailing, no team colour, which is how the model was sold to programmes that wanted to supply their own. Reviews at the time were consistently positive about the value rather than the ceiling, and that is precisely the model's role: a serviceable team shoe at well under the cost of a signature line, offered in high and low cuts and in enough colours to match most school kits.
