The Court FF 3 is ASICS's aggressive-movement tennis shoe, the one built for players who live on hard changes of direction rather than long defensive slides, and it sits alongside the more supportive GEL-Resolution in the brand's court line. ASICS announced it in December 2022 and shipped it the following month.
What separated it from the Court FF 2 was the sole. Instead of one moulded outsole, ASICS split it into three pieces and divided the heel section in two, widening the contact patch at landing and letting the forefoot flex more freely. The company had the design tested at the University of Tsukuba in August 2022 and reported a 6.8 percent drop in impact loading at heel contact. Across the midfoot sits TWISTRUSS, a two-part structure that resists twist when a player pushes off at an angle, and the midsole combines FlyteFoam (the lightweight foam ASICS introduced in 2016) with a GEL unit under the heel.
Novak Djokovic worked on the model with ASICS and wears the Novak-trimmed versions, which carry his colours and a higher price. Pairs like this black and hot pink make-up are the standard release of the same shoe.
