Lite-Show is not a model, it is a treatment. ASICS applies it across the road range (the GT-1000, the GT-2000 and others) by rebuilding a shoe’s upper with reflective material worked into the print, the logo and the heel, so that a runner out before dawn or after work registers as something in a driver’s headlights rather than as nothing at all.
The point is that it changes the graphic, not the shoe. Everything below the upper on this pair is standard GT-1000 11: LITETRUSS moulded into the arch side of the midsole to slow the inward roll of an overpronating foot, a GEL unit in the rearfoot for impact, and outsole rubber concentrated at the heel and forefoot. It is the entry tier of the ASICS stability range and it stays that way here.
What the treatment does change is how the shoe looks in daylight. The lime zest base reads as a flat, slightly acid yellow-green, and the reflective sections sit on it as dull grey panels until light hits them straight on.
