Two greys and a red. Nimbus Cloud is the pale one, a standard New Balance tone, and a deeper grey sits alongside it, while team red appears in far smaller quantity than either. The balance is what makes the scheme work, since grey carries the shape and the red only tells you where to look. Marbled Street was the name the release carried, and the mix of greys is what it points at.
New Balance sold the pair in 2018 at $80. Red as an accent on grey is one of the oldest ideas in running shoe design, and it survives on this model because the 574 came from the same place: the 500 series was competitive running gear, and a bright flash on a dark upper was standard practice on it. The rest of the build is unchanged from the original, a 576 upper on a 577 sole, a combination Steven Smith assembled to make a cheaper shoe out of parts New Balance already had on hand.
