Carhartt WIP, the workwear label, worked with Nike on this Air Max 95 in 2018, dressing the upper in black with a camouflage ripstop pattern over a sail-colored midsole. An embroidered Carhartt logo sits on the tongue, laces are swapped for a two-tone boot-style cord, and the Air unit and heel Swoosh are both finished in a bright total orange.
It released on December 6, 2018 at $170, in line with the model's collaborative pricing at the time. The pairing brought Carhartt's workwear background to the silhouette through material choice rather than colour alone, and it remains one of relatively few Air Max 95 collaborations built around a ripstop upper rather than the suede or leather used across most of the model's other releases.
