Metallic gold is a difficult accent to place on an Air Force 1 because the model's panels are large and flat, and a metallic surface at that scale tends to look plastic. The fix is restraint. Here the gold is confined to the Swoosh and the branding, with the rest left as white leather, so the metal reads as trim on a plain shoe rather than as the shoe itself.
GS stands for grade school, Nike's sizing band between kids' and adult, and the pattern is a straight scale-down of the adult low-top: the same perforated toe box, the same padded collar, the same thick midsole wall, the same rubber cupsole with an Air unit sealed under the heel.
