Red on red, in suede. The toddler Blazer Mid '77 in team red uses a single color across the upper rather than blocking it, and the nap of the suede is what keeps the shoe from looking flat. Black and white are held back to small details, the branding and the sole edge, so there is nothing to interrupt the red. On a mid-top with a padded collar and this few seams, a monochrome treatment reads as heavier than it would on a low cut.
