The Hyperdunk was Nike's team basketball shoe for a decade, and the tenth model is the one that fixed its cushioning. The heel Air unit was made roughly twice as thick as the 2016 version's, the foam carrier was softened, and the React foam used in the 2017 model was dropped after reviewers found it flat under a basketball load. The midsole was cored out to claw the weight back. TB stands for team bank: the same shoe in single-colour blocks made for college and school programmes and ordered through team accounts rather than sold at retail. This royal blue version is one of those, with white and black doing the trim work and nothing else on the upper. Team make-ups are usually the cheapest route to a current performance model, since they skip the marketing colourways entirely, and they come in sizes retail runs never carry. It arrived in the middle of 2018 alongside the model's retail launch.
