These high-waisted leggings belong to the Satin Shine group of the NikeSKIMS range, the part of the collection built on a quick-drying fabric with a low sheen rather than a matte training knit. The blend is listed at 38 percent polyester, 31 percent spandex and 31 percent nylon, cut with four-way stretch so it gives across the leg as well as along it, and the gusset is lined in cotton. The waistband is bonded instead of assembled from a stitched elastic casing, which is what gives the waist its smooth outer edge, and darts run into the side seams to shape the fabric through the hip. A silicone logo is applied in matte at the center back, and the piece is machine washable.
