This Club C inverts the palette of a companion White colorway, running a Black leather upper against White detailing instead. The build otherwise matches: an EVA midsole underfoot in place of the standard rubber cupsole, and a $200 retail that puts it well above the typical Club C 85 price range.
Black and white is a more traditional pairing for the Club C than some of the brighter colorways the silhouette has carried, and here it is rendered entirely in leather rather than mixed with suede or nubuck panels. The EVA midsole is the more notable departure, since it changes the underfoot feel from the firmer cupsole construction the model has used since 1985. At $200, it costs well over double the standard Club C 85's typical retail.
