Reebok's Club C Coast keeps the outline of its tennis shoe but changes how it is made. Where the standard Club C uses leather on a rubber cupsole, the Coast has a canvas upper on a vulcanized rubber sole, the construction found on skate and deck shoes, which makes it lighter and quicker to break in. The 'Black White' colourway runs that canvas in black with white detailing, then sets it on a gum rubber outsole, so the black-and-white upper is the only graphic element. It is one of the plainest ways to wear a Club C.
