Black Gum Corduroy replaces the Campus's usual suede with a ribbed black corduroy upper, an unusual material choice for a model whose low-top suede build has been its defining feature since its days as a basketball shoe. Crystal white lines the midsole and a gum rubber outsole closes out the build, both sitting under the exaggerated padded tongue and wider laces of the 00s version.
The pair released September 30, 2024, at a retail price of $110, matching the standard Campus 00s retail price despite the change in upper material. The corduroy texture gives the shoe a rougher, more textile-driven finish than the smooth suede colorways that make up most of the Campus range, while the gum outsole ties it back to the model's rubber, herringbone-tread base.
