Cloud White does the heavy lifting here, covering the knit upper and the full-length Boost midsole so the shoe is effectively pale from collar to ground. Core Black is the accent, and because it is the only dark element it pulls the eye straight to wherever it appears: the welded Three Stripes on the sidewall, the branding details and the hardware set into the foam.
That hardware includes the piece that identifies the generation. On the V2 the inserts at the forefoot and heel are joined by a tab wrapping the back of the midsole, and in black against white foam it is the clearest feature on the profile. Priced at $150 in December 2022, this arrived a month after the black-upper version of the same build, the two working as a matched pair rather than as separate ideas. The sock collar, heel pull tab and segmented rubber outsole are carried over without change.
