Collegiate Green returns to the heel tab here, closer to the shoe's traditional green than the brighter scarlet option released alongside it on the same day. The upper is synthetic rather than leather, a substitution adidas uses across the grade-school size run to keep the shoe lighter, cheaper to produce, and easier to replace as growing feet change size every season.
Cloud White covers the rest of the shoe, and the perforated rows standing in for the Three Stripes carry over unchanged from the adult version, right down to the tongue portrait and the eyelet spacing. Retailing for $60, it released March 7, 2024, giving younger buyers a lower-priced route into the same recognizable silhouette worn by adults in leather, at a fraction of the cost.
