Navy and yellow is a nautical pairing, and the colour names say so: Legend Marine for the deep blue that covers the Primeknit, Hi-Res Yellow for the sharp accent, Cloud White for the sole and the breaks between them. The yellow is used in small amounts, which is what makes it work against a dark ground. Too much of it and the shoe would read as high-visibility workwear instead.
The 4.0 is the generation that softened the UltraBoost's midfoot hold, trading the rigid moulded cage of earlier versions for a stitched three-stripe panel tied into the lacing. Everything else carried over, including the full-length Boost midsole of fused thermoplastic polyurethane pellets that has defined the line from its first generation onward. Retail was $180, the base tier for the silhouette, so the colourway rather than the construction is what separates this from its stablemates.
