Forum Bold is the platform-soled women's version of the model, raising the cupsole into a thick wedge that changes the shoe's proportion without touching the upper's shape. This one carries a dance theme and a palette to match: Cloud White leather across the body, Frozen Green picking out the accents and Matte Gold on the hardware, which is where most of the character sits. Gold eyelets and trim on a white shoe read as jewellery rather than sportswear.
It released on 28 February 2021, during the stretch when adidas was expanding the Forum hard after reintroducing it through Originals the year before, and the Bold platform was a large part of why the model found a second audience outside basketball nostalgia. The ankle strap survives the redesign and is arguably more useful here, since the raised sole makes a secure collar more important. Leather keeps the white structured against the added height, and Frozen Green, a cool mint, is the only thing on the shoe that dates it to the season it came from.
