Primeknit 360 is the part of the Ultraboost 19 that is easiest to feel and hardest to see. Where earlier versions built an upper from knit panels attached to a separate bootie and held by a plastic cage, the 19 knits the whole wrap as one piece, with the yarn structure varying by zone so the material stretches where the foot spreads and holds where it needs to be held. adidas called the effect motion weave, and the practical result is a shoe that takes its shape from the foot rather than imposing one.
Underneath, the architecture is shared with every other 19: a Torsion Spring plate set into the Boost midsole, a lightweight 3D heel frame in place of a moulded counter, and Continental rubber on the outsole. Later colourways such as this one, out in October 2019, tended to use the frame as the accent piece (here coral against a white and grey upper) because it is the one structural part that reads clearly at a distance.
