By spring 2017 the 350 V2 had been defined by contrast: a bold stripe cutting across the lateral side, usually in a colour that fought the upper. Cream White inverted that. The Primeknit is cream, the stripe branding is cream, and the only visual break is the translucent midsole housing full-length Boost.
The more consequential part of its story is what happened eighteen months later. Kanye West had repeatedly said the line should be available to everyone rather than rationed, and in October 2018 adidas tested that by reissuing the shoe under the Triple White name through an open pre-sale: anyone who registered on the website was promised a pair. It was organised as the largest release the line had run.
The returning pair matched the original construction, Primeknit upper, Boost midsole and co-branded insole, and its arrival changed how the colourway is discussed. Two names, two release windows and two very different levels of scarcity now attach to what is essentially one shoe.
