XLARGE paired this Campus 80s with its 'Orbit Violet' release to mark 30 years of the Los Angeles streetwear label in 2022. Where its companion goes violet, the Mesa colorway runs a warm tan suede across the upper, punched up with solar red leather on the stripes and heel tab. The interior lining hides the same leopard print used across the pack, an unexpected touch under a shoe that otherwise reads as a classic two tone Campus.
A gum rubber cupsole with a herringbone tread anchors the build, echoing the model's original basketball court sole. Solar red also shows up on the branding at the heel, marked with an adidas Trefoil, a detail shared with the Orbit Violet pair from the same capsule.
