XLARGE, a Los Angeles streetwear label, marked its 30th year in business with this Campus 80s, one of two colorways built for the occasion. The upper is soft suede dyed a pale violet, offset by black leather across the model's signature stripes and its Trefoil marked heel tab. Inside, the white lining carries a leopard print, an unexpected flourish on a shoe otherwise kept close to the original basketball silhouette, and an XLARGE branded tag sits on the tongue.
A light colored cupsole with a herringbone tread underfoot ties the design back to the model's court beginnings, while chalk white accents round out the palette. The 'Orbit Violet' colorway released February 4, 2022 alongside its 'Mesa' companion, both priced at $100.
