The twelfth version of Asics's entry-level stability shoe arrived in 2023 with a redesigned upper and, more usefully, a fuller set of width fittings; this is the extra wide build. Stability comes from Litetruss, a flexible support built into the midsole rather than a rigid plastic shank, which guides the foot through the stride without killing the shock absorption the way older hardware did.
