Grey is underrated on a Chuck. White shows every mark, black hides the shape, and a mid-grey like Mouse does neither: it keeps the outline legible while staying quiet enough to wear with anything. The shade has a warm, slightly brown cast rather than a cool one, which is why it sits comfortably against the white toe cap, foxing stripe and outsole instead of looking washed out.
This is the standard All Star build, not the heavier 70. The canvas is the lighter modern weave, the ankle patch is printed rather than stitched, the outsole is the three-piece diamond-pattern unit, and the insole is the thin sheet the model has always used.
