OPI names its nail lacquers with wordplay, and the Converse partnership took that literally: each shoe was released in a shade matched to a polish and given the same name, so the colour and the joke travelled together. This one takes a muted green Converse calls Thyme, a herbal, slightly grey tone rather than a bright grass green, and runs it tonally across the canvas upper.
Black is used on the laces and eyelets, which darkens the green and keeps it from reading as pastel, while the rubber toe cap, foxing stripe and outsole stay white. Nothing about the shoe itself changes, so the collaboration lives entirely in the colour and the name rather than in the construction, and the high-top silhouette arrives exactly as Converse sells it in plain canvas.
