There is no color story here, which is the appeal. Black leather covers every panel of the upper, the Swoosh is set tonally into it, and the branding is stamped rather than printed, so the shoe holds a single unbroken shade from toe to heel. The white midsole is the only break, and the outsole returns to black beneath it.
In grade school sizing the Low is the most practical of the three cuts. The collar sits under the ankle bone, the tongue is thinner than the High's, and the shoe takes scuffs without showing them, which matters more at this size than it does in adult pairs.
