What sets this one apart is the hide. Most Air Jordan 1 retros use a smooth finished leather, and this makeup swaps in a textured version, so the green overlays carry a visible grain that catches light differently across the toe, eyestay and heel.
The color work is restrained by comparison. Clover green sits on the overlays, gold handles the branding and the collar detailing, and white fills the quarter panels and the midsole. Metallic gold on a white base is a combination the model gets rarely, and the texture keeps it from looking flashy.
