The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Love Letter" takes its name from Michael Jordan's farewell to basketball, the letter he closed with the words "Much Love and Respect." That phrase appears on the collar and the hang tag, tying the story directly to the shoe. The colorway wraps the high-top in Shadow Brown, Light British Tan and Team Red across a build of nubuck leather and soft suede.
Those materials are chosen to age: Jordan Brand says the nubuck and suede will develop a patina with wear, so each pair records its owner's mileage the way a worn-in favorite does.
