The Ultra.Fly line sat below Jordan's signature models, built for team players rather than around one athlete, and the second version arrived at the start of 2018 in both a mid and this low cut.
Its construction is straightforward for the category. Zoom Air units sit at the heel and the forefoot for low-profile cushioning, and an injected Phylon midsole carries the rest. The part worth noting is the lacing. Instead of eyelets punched through the upper, webbing straps float across the midfoot and continue down to the strobel, so pulling the laces tightens a structure that wraps under the foot rather than simply squeezing the side panels together.
This white pair with green arrived in spring 2018, a few months after the first colours. It listed at $100, near the bottom of Jordan's performance range, and shoes at that level rarely stay in the conversation long; the fit system was the reason to look at this one.
