Nike assembled a Back to School pack around classroom objects, and the notebook Dunk High was its centrepiece, alongside an Air Max 90 styled after a glue bottle and a Vandal High done in crayon colours. The graphic is a composition book taken apart and laid across the panels. The speckled black and white cover pattern covers the overlays. University Blue picks out the ruled lines. On a high cut there is more panel area for the pattern to run across, which is why the high top carries the graphic most completely.
Premium is the build designation, meaning upgraded materials over a general release Dunk, and the 150 dollar retail reflects it. This was the adult version; Nike also ran the notebook theme through grade school sizing on both cuts.
