The Superfly 11 Academy is the high-collared half of Nike's Mercurial line, and this is its turf version in big kids' sizing. The upper is NikeSkin and, per Nike, laceless: the shoe is held on by a Dynamic Fit collar, the knit cuff that extends above the ankle and pulls snug around it, rather than by a lacing system. Nike states this generation is lighter than the one before it. Because it is a turf shoe and not a firm-ground cleat, the sole is rubber with a molded traction pattern intended for shorter synthetic surfaces, and a cushioned sockliner sits inside. The colorway runs White with Bright Crimson and Blur.
Release is scheduled for August 20, 2026 at a retail price of $75, ten dollars above the low-cut Vapor turf shoe Nike is putting out the same day. Academy is the middle tier of the Mercurial range, above Club and below Pro and Elite, while the Superfly name signals the collar, applying the same speed-oriented shape as the Vapor with the ankle covered.
