Black/University Red/Wolf Grey/Bright Crimson gives this big-kids Nike Pegasus 42 a dark mesh body with red concentrated along the sides and underside. A red Swoosh crosses the quarter, and a narrow red strip runs above the rear sidewall. The black sole keeps the profile subdued from the side, but a large red contact section appears under the forefoot. Dark laces and a raised rear opening continue the upper's mostly black arrangement.
The youth version combines heel Air Zoom cushioning with a ReactX midsole. Nike specifies lightweight mesh, high-abrasion rubber and an updated Waffle outsole with flex grooves. The toe and forefoot fit are wider than on the Pegasus 41. Its regular US listing stood at $112 on September 22, 2026. The concentrated red tread creates a useful visual distinction between the largely dark upper and the running platform beneath it.
