A glossy black band wraps the toe and lower sides of the Jordan 11 Retro MCS, above a plate lined with molded baseball studs. Black/Anthracite/Metallic Gold leaves almost the entire cleat dark, apart from the gold Jumpman near the outer ankle. Tall loops rise from the lower upper to guide the laces, and the collar extends above the heel. Underneath, a dense dotted texture fills the spaces between the larger molded studs.
The MCS construction adapts the Air Jordan 11's upper design for baseball. Genuine leather supplies structure, while foam forms the cushioning layer above the cleated plate. The outsole's raised perimeter studs distinguish this field version from a conventional basketball sole, and the lacing runs high over the instep.
