A detachable hairband at the heel is a functional detail of the Jordan Heir Series 2. The model was developed with input from women basketball players and combines an external cage with a thicker drop-in midsole. Air Zoom cushioning sits within the basketball construction, and herringbone rubber covers the outsole.
