Realtree is a camouflage brand rather than a fashion label, and its patterns are built from photographic leaf, bark and branch imagery instead of the blocky military shapes most camo sneakers borrow from. Putting it on an Air Force 1 was a straight licensing move, and Nike released the treatment across several colorways in January 2019.
This grade-school version pairs the printed camo textile with Orange Blaze, which is not a decorative choice: blaze orange is the high-visibility color hunting regulations require in much of the United States, and it is the one thing on a hunter that is deliberately not camouflaged. Wheat fills in the rest, tying the shoe to the tan work-boot palette Nike has used on the model for years. Realtree branding appears on the insole. The LV8 designation marks a materials upgrade over the standard Air Force 1, and the 3 identifies this particular build. Underneath, the shoe is unchanged: a foam midsole with an Air unit at the heel over a rubber outsole. It sold for $90.
