About the Nike Air Force 1 Premium "Vince Carter" 2007
Twenty-five years after the shoe launched, Nike went back to the advertisement that introduced it. The 1983 campaign put six NBA players in the model and shot them on an airfield; for the anniversary the brand assembled a New Six from the athletes then under contract, among them Carter, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Rasheed Wallace, Amare Stoudemire and Tony Parker, and gave each a makeup of his own.
Carter's is the least obvious of them. Dark Khaki is a muted brown-green, closer to a work boot than to a basketball shoe, and it takes the whole upper.
