Two navies, one white. Obsidian takes the base and the overlays, Midnight Navy shades the panels behind them, and Summit White is held to the midsole and the trim lines. Because the blues sit close together in value, the upper looks carved rather than blocked, with the seams reading as shifts in depth. The Premium designation covers the material upgrade over a standard 90, and it explains the $140 price when general-release pairs that spring were running $120 to $130. Nike released it in March 2021.
Below the upper it is the usual arrangement: a visible Air unit in the heel inside its moulded window, a foam midsole and a waffle-pattern rubber outsole. Navy is one of the harder colours to make interesting on this silhouette, because the model relies on contrast between panels to show its layering. Using two shades of the same family instead of a single flat navy is the fix, and it is why this pair keeps its shape at a distance where a monotone version would flatten out.
