The Air Max 90 Premium Scorpion puts a bright blue Air-window surround beneath an otherwise black upper. Black/Gamma Blue/Ice/Chrome adds mirror-like Swooshes and small blue Air Max labels, while the outsole reveals a mottled blend of pale and dark blue. Synthetic and genuine leather form the upper, supplemented by synthetic overlays. A foam midsole and visible Max Air provide the cushioning, and the rubber outsole retains the Air Max 90's waffle traction. The black mudguard traces a continuous boundary between the layered upper and the brighter sole sections. Ribbed heel and eyelet pieces remain dark, allowing the chrome branding and blue cushioning frame to carry most of the contrast. The patterned underside adds color variation that is less visible from the side.
