This Air Max 95 pairs a mesh upper, a lighter alternative to the model's usual suede and leather build, with a black and iron grey base offset by safety orange at the eyelets and heel counter. White appears along the sole and branding for contrast. Nike released the pair on March 17, 2023 at $175.
The mesh construction keeps the shoe's tiered panel shape while trimming weight from the upper. Like every Air Max 95, it carries visible Air cushioning in both the heel and forefoot, a layout the model introduced in 1995 as the first Nike shoe to put a visible Air unit in the forefoot. Safety orange gives this pair one of the brighter accent colors in the 2023 lineup, set against a more muted grey and black base.
