Synthetic material stacks black, anthracite, iron grey, cool grey and flat pewter on this Air Max 95, with picante red breaking through at the eyelets, heel and branding. Reflective material covers sections of the layered panels, catching light differently than the matte tones around it. Nike released the pair on November 12, 2022 at $175.
Picante red is the only saturated color in an otherwise grey and black arrangement, concentrated where the eyelets, heel tab and Swoosh sit. The synthetic build swaps in for the suede or leather more common to the model while keeping the same tiered panel shape and ridged mudguard. Both a heel and forefoot Air unit stay visible through the darker upper, unchanged from the layout Nike introduced on the Air Max 95 in 1995.
