A mesh upper carries the Light Charcoal and Black base, with Lemon Venom and University Red breaking across the ribbed side panels and eyelet area. The Air cushioned sole keeps the model's dual visible units at heel and forefoot, finished in the same dark tone as the upper.
The name nods to where this shoe sits in Nike's lineup: the Air Max 95 falls between the Air Max 93 and the Air Max 97 in the line's chronology, and it was the first Nike shoe to put visible Air in the forefoot.
