Several small color blocks give this Nike Air Max Excee its character. Blue fills the Swooshes, red covers the rear patch and forefoot tread, and a vivid green Air unit shows through a black heel surround. Nike lists White/Bright Cactus/Track Red/Hyper Blue as the full colorway. Pale grey panels around the lacing and midfoot soften the transition between those accents and the largely white upper.
The Excee takes its elongated design lines from the Air Max 90, combining mesh, leather and suede with synthetic-leather overlays. Its Air-Sole unit is visible through three windows, supported by a foam midsole and foam outsole construction. The molded heel section creates a deeper profile than the slimmer forefoot.
