The Air Zoom Flight The Glove is one of the most distinctive basketball designs Nike produced in the late 1990s, recognizable at a glance for the zippered shroud that wraps the forefoot. This release marks only the second time the shoe has come back since its 1998 debut. The shroud is functional as well as visual: it closes over an internal lacing setup and a Monkey Paw support cage, so zipping up locks the foot down. Air Zoom cushioning keeps the ride quick off the ground, a foam midsole and durable rubber outsole sit underneath, and the build mixes textile with synthetic leather, finished with a pull tab at the heel.
The colorway keeps to Black, University Red, and White. Release is set for July 31, 2026 in men's sizing at a retail price of $170, and with reissues this rare, the release stands as just the model's second retail return since its original run.
