Nike splits its running range by what a foot does rather than by how far it goes, and the Structure sits in the stability half, built for runners whose ankles roll inward under load. The twenty-second model handles that with two foams of different densities rather than the moulded plastic wedge older stability shoes relied on: firmer material along the inner edge, softer along the outer, so the correction happens through compression instead of through a hard block. Heel Air cushioning and a mesh upper complete it. This version arrived at the start of 2019, running black across the upper with a saturated blue through the branding and midsole detailing and grey filling the trim: the brightest of the model's make-ups, and the one that most obviously reads as a running shoe rather than as a general trainer. It is heavier than the version before it and slower than the Pegasus it sits beside in the line, which is the trade a stability runner makes.
