The Structure is Nike's long-running stability trainer, and the twenty-second version works the way that category traditionally does: a dual-density midsole with softer Cushlon foam along the outside of the foot and firmer Phylon along the inside, so the shoe resists the inward roll of an overpronating stride without a visible plastic post. A Zoom Air unit sits in the heel. Reviewers were divided on how well the arrangement held together at that stack height: several felt the heel sat too high for the support to do its job cleanly, while others rated the stability among the best available in the class. It also put on roughly ten percent in weight over the previous version, a change nobody had asked for. In grey with oil and gunsmoke shading, the shoe reads as a plain daily trainer, which is what it is. Stability models rarely get interesting colourways, partly because they are bought on fit and gait rather than on looks, and usually restocked rather than chosen.
