Engineered open-hole mesh provides ventilation, and an internal band secures the midfoot. Nike increased the amount of midsole cushioning for this generation, giving the sole its substantial side profile. Underneath, pale forefoot sections are separated by channels, with a dark navy contact area at the heel. That small dark section repeats the upper's navy accent without overwhelming the otherwise light sole.
