This Supreme collaboration reworks the Air Max 95 Lux, a premium construction Nike first produced in Italy in 2001, in a monochrome Gym Red finish. Full leather covers the model's layered, ridged side panels, with laser perforated Supreme branding cut into the overlays and a debossed Swoosh worked into the heel. Keeping the whole upper in a single red tone strips away the usual color blocking found on general release Air Max 95 pairs, putting the focus on the leather panelling itself.
Nike released the pair on November 7, 2019 at a retail price of $500, one of three colorways in the Supreme collaboration alongside a black pair and one in Hyper Cobalt. An engraved metal hangtag rounds out the package, matching the Lux line's premium, made in Italy construction. At $500 it sits well above the Air Max 95's general release pricing, reflecting the leather build and the limited nature of the collaboration.
