Most Air Force 1 colorways work on a base and one accent. This one uses three tones that sit close together: Light Armory Blue, a pale desaturated blue; off white, warmer than the model's usual bright white; and Obsidian Mist, a grayed blue that anchors the darker pieces. Because none of the three fights the others, the panel seams and the stitch lines become the thing you actually notice.
The Premium designation covers the material grade on the upper rather than any change to the shape. Everything structural is the 1982 design: a foam midsole with an Air unit encapsulated at the heel, a rubber cupsole, the perforated vamp for airflow, and the circular pivot pattern on the outsole that was drawn for turning on a basketball court. Nike put it out in women's sizing at $100, the same price as the standard low-top, so the material upgrade did not carry a premium here.
