About the Nike Wmns Air Max 1 '87 LX "Light Smoke Grey"
Nubuck covers this Air Max 1 '87 LX in photon dust and light smoke grey, with white panels breaking up the two greys and a midnight navy hit at the heel tab. The material gives the shoe a softer, suede-like texture with a smoother finish than the plain suede builds used elsewhere in the '87 line.
Priced at $160 and released December 4, 2023, it carries the '87 name because the line reproduces the model's 1987 launch proportions, including the visible Max Air window cut into the heel, the detail that separated the original running shoe from anything Nike had built before it. The tonal grey and navy mix keeps this pair closer to an everyday, cold-weather colorway than the brighter prints used on some other '87 releases.
