Four dark shades, almost no contrast. Off Noir covers the leather upper, Anthracite and Dark Smoke Grey shade the panels, and true black fills the outlines, so what separates one section from another is a difference in depth rather than colour. In daylight the layering reads; under artificial light the shoe collapses into a single mass. Nike released it in December 2024 at $150, above the general-release band for the model that winter, with the leather build accounting for the difference.
The sole unit is untouched: visible heel Air inside its moulded window, foam midsole, waffle-pattern rubber below. Dark tonal versions are the most practical way to own this silhouette. Nothing on the upper shows scuffing, the creasing that forms across the toe box stays invisible, and the shoe works through winter in a way that a white pair does not. The trade-off is that the panel structure, which is the actual design, gets harder to see.
