Nike SB's Deconstructed Premium line reworked the Dunk High for an unfinished, raw aesthetic, and the Peat Moss colorway is one of its clearest examples. Tumbled black leather covers most of the upper, broken up by velvet brown and peat moss suede detailing, while gold contrast stitching runs across the panels for a handmade look. The style arrived during the SB Dunk's late-2010s resurgence, ahead of the silhouette's broader comeback in 2020.
The tongue is left exposed at the foam, a signature of the Decon treatment, and the shoe sits on a translucent outsole with a Zoom Air unit for cushioning. Nike SB released the pair on September 16, 2018 at $110, extending a design language it had already applied to Ishod Wair's Mismatch Dunk earlier that year.
