Black is the fourth release in Patta's ongoing Air Max 1 collaboration, following the Amsterdam label's established formula of a wavy mudguard set against a mostly mesh upper. Here the mudguard and heel overlay come in black leather, with a small embroidered swoosh sitting on the lateral forefoot, while metallic silver mesh and coconut milk detailing fill out the rest of the shoe. The pair sits on a pre yellowed polyurethane midsole, a finish Patta has used across the series to give each release an aged, worn in look straight out of the box.
